Recommendable Relaunched
Recommendable helps people find your business’ word of mouth recommendations – we help businesses to grow. Recommendable came from one of the founders moving house a few years ago and realising he had no idea how to find businesses nearby that he could really put his trust in. It didn’t help that around the same time, there was also a huge scandal of fake reviews amassing on sites like Trip Advisor (goo.gl/VxyJr0) and no reliable way for people to find genuinely trusted local businesses.
Recommendable uses Facebook’s powerful connection network to bring personal trust back into the reviewing process. Since recommended businesses are ranked, not by sheer numbers (easily spammed) but by the scale of personal and individual links with the user, Recommendable ensures you can have trust toward every recommended business. It’s simple – if your Facebook friends have recommended a business, it appears at the top of your search results!
This also helps businesses grow, by allowing them to capture their word of mouth recommendations and build referrals. Many SMEs understandably struggle to maintain a strong web presence, so this element of Recommendable is the best way to drive growth and boost revenues.
Put simply; Recommendable is a great product, it helps consumers find great businesses and enables great companies to grow. So, why is Recommendable relaunching? The original founders of recommendable are all successful business people, with commitments spanning many areas and life has a way of drawing you in all directions. Recommendable slowed down but is ready to get going and make things happen again!
Since November a new team; Dominic and Xavier, have joined Recommendable with new energy and a drive to improve the product. They want to work with more businesses and add considerable value to our local business community. Dominic and Xavier are young entrepreneurs with a wide experience in everything from artificial intelligence, through events and recruitment to innovation strategy. They’ve joined Recommendable because they believe that there is a need for a way to help local businesses grow and they agree that word of mouth is simply the best way to do it. Together they create a team which can cover all bases and have a vision to build an incredible solution that makes local business marketing easy.
The Recommendable site is currently undergoing exciting developments – we’re developing new value generating features and updating the core product. The new Recommendable is going to stand out – not least because of all the help we’ve had through feedback on our ongoing BETA testing!
